Hey guys, I really need feedback on this subject. Many of you know that I've been working on a comic to explain Zail's rather cliche but hopefully still tragic backstory. However, you're all aware that I haven't been making any progress on this for months. It's at a standstill because lately I haven't had much motivation or time to work on it (lately it's been the no time part). This idea I have has popped up in my head numerous times, but I've refused to listen to it. I can't continue to ignore this possibility because right now Zail is stuck, unable to do anything remotely interesting because I can't progress his storyline. So... I want to know.

Should I simply write Reigne Fall as a short story so I can finally share Zail's background to you sometime this winter, or should I continue to make you guys wait forever and ever for something you really don't care about? D: I need to know.

Just know that if I do decide to write the short story just for the sake of moving Zail's plot along, I may end up coming back to finish up the comic just for fun and practice. Right now it's not fun because it's been hanging over my head for forever now.
